Similar here !! I see Metcheck has it quite showery and some decent rain fall for West Midlands into next weekendWe made quite a lot of hay at the end of May. The round baler didn't like it much - too short. Have quite a bit more to do so hopefully the grass will have grown a bit more. All the fields are still brown from silage, which was down by about 1/4 on the same acreage and now all the cattle are turned out on the fields so there won't be a second cut.
Luckily we have lots of hay from last year so they have something to eat.
Not the same amount of moisture here, but the same greyness! Also been bloody cold for the last 10 days.Got plenty moisture here now, growthy weather but rain over the weekend and drissle today has put a stop on silage, forecast doesn't look like brightening up much either.
Picture taken yesterday ( excuse the mess )
I'm 'lusting' your puddles ! Dry as a chip here !!

It just skirts round us .....promised some for Thurs .....we wait and seeWe had 30 mm yesterday and another storm has just deposited another 10 mm.
Contractor couldn’t get onto the fields to spray the maize today , as it was too soft to travel.
Hard to believe we aren’t that far away
What part of the world are you ?We manage to have missed all the rain that was forecast. Had a 10 minute shower yesterday that has made the lawn grow, but nowhere near enough to do any good. No rain of any amount for April, May and now June.
