Whaddever. No need to get worked up. 🤷🏻‍♂️

We just generally don't like being told what to do. Me included.
Why would you think I'm worked up? We're debating, I'm pulling you up on your comparison (and subsequent backtracking) just as you would (possibly have) done to me. You make it sound like you think it's acceptable to force vaccination on people who don't want it, you have said before it's for the greater good or words to that effect, but the evidence now suggests my vaccination will not affect you positively or negatively so it shouldn't be your concern.

Does my wearing/not wearing of a seatbelt affect you in your car?

Right. But the government institutes a law to say you must, and we both do it. Presumably.
Boring now. The thread is about a government forcing citizens to get a jab in order to keep their job. Compare it to seatbelts all you like. The jab has been proven to kill people among many other side effects. It's wrong. Simple. Back in July and August when it was thought transmission was stopped by vaccination there was a weak case for mandates, now there's nothing. Hospitals are coping, they are not full of unvaccinated people and if rules were altered to a sensible solution there would be staff and beds for 25% extra patients.

Overall ski trade perhaps but nearer 40 % there and probably more at this time of year, the ski resorts arent happy, but the rumours are that it will be lifted this Wednesday in time for this wknd ( hopefully true as we are meant to be going this wk) & the big ski operations havent cancelled their stays yet.
Macron has had his tantrum, he bottled turning the leccy off. Hopefully we can setback to normal
Jersey granted all the asked for licences except 7 which have been granted temporary licences . Who bottled?
Thanks to the cooperation between Jersey, the European commission and UK government, further data has now been received and the technical exercise can be brought to a conclusion."
He said "important work" could now begin around the extent and nature of fishing, confirming "what species fishermen are permitted to catch", and what measures were "required to conserve fish stocks".
The EU commission said further consultations would continue over Jersey's seven additional replacement vessels with the aim to have them licenced by Monday.
It said it would "examine the legal circumstances around every requested license which has not been granted".

A UK government spokesperson said: "We have licensed vessels where sufficient evidence has been provided that demonstrates that a vessel qualifies for access under the TCA. Where that evidence has not been provided, licences have not been issued.
"On direct replacement vessels, we have taken an approach in line with the TCA which provides stability and ensures the sustainability of our fisheries. Following receipt of new evidence from the Commission, the UK licensed 18 replacement vessels on the basis of this methodology.
"This now concludes this phase of intensive talks on licensing."

It's still your choice.
Your and idiot...
Sorry mate but its not a choice if it cuts your freedoms if you don't do as they want.
And it is similar here.
I had bad reaction to 2nd jab.
Headached every day since.
I know couple ppl who had migraines since the booster.
I have asked doctor for an exemption letter from the booster as they said its 50/50 if it will make headaches worse.
They won't give me 1 as they say its my choice....

The law in France states that Under 12 meter boats do not require GPS. The UK has gone against the terms of the TCA and insisted on digitalised data. Expensive and time consuming to have written logs digitalised.
These have been done where needed and Jersey have accepted written logs in some cases.
Where some boats were fitted with new engines the licence number was changed, this caused confusion but has now been resolved with relevant licences issued.

If they complied in the first place they would have been granted, but it’s probably taken this long to fabricate something suitable 😂

Officially, I am unvaccinated, despite having had two doses. This is because they were over 6 months ago and I refused the booster until someone could tell me it would not make my blood condition, which came on after the second vax, worse.
This is one side effect:-

That is just one vein that popped. There are others...
I was strongly in favour of vaccinations, but now I will not have another for Covid even if it means I dont travel or work.
Still think it should be mandatory?

What did the doctors say ? " Nope nothing to do with the vaccine, I don't know what caused it but I know it wasn't the vaccine"
