My girls are the same...that's one of the reasons I've got Herefords. My cows are normally quiet as mice but I went out to check the ring feeders with a torch last night and they went bananas! No malice but even the Herefords were charging about kicking their heels up. I was glad to be out of the gate before I was a victim of 'friendly fire'!
However, if they're at the far end of the field and I manage to sneak into the field and put a bale in the ring feeder without them spotting me it's a fantastic sight seeing 15 cattle hurtling down the field towards you. Always make sure I'm well out of the way though as most of them haven't got a clue about braking distances.
Would unlikely get injured by cow malice but defo get injured by cow excitement.
