Our bacto scans are 95% of the time to do with cows not plant !!How, bacto is cleanliness. As soon as ours shifts it’s always plant not clean somewhere.
Generally, we don’t knowingly do anything specific to keep our bacto low, but the water coming out the tap for the hot wash is always 90degC morning and night. Appart from the one mega spike when I think the tanker driver must have sat the sample on a radiator, most of the others are something not washing properly. Our bacto scans are 95% of the time to do with cows not plant !!
It’s generally cows with no sign of mastitis or high cell counts and again nothing to do with cleanliness. In some cases it can be damage to the rear or surrounding skin, others we’ve only found when drying them off or culling.Generally, we don’t knowingly do anything specific to keep our bacto low, but the water coming out the tap for the hot wash is always 90degC morning and night.
