I’d love to be as brave as everyone else leaving there wheat untreated but ours had 0.6lt Capalo at T0 =£13.50.

The agronomist wants to go with 1lt Mantra next week for circa £20/ha.

Agronomist new to us this year, I think he’d have been very brave to advise us to do nothing until a possible T2?!

It's still cheap insurance. Better to have something on before the weather turns than not be able to get something on later.

Warm weather this weekend will increase cycle times too.

Agronomists take as much risk as the client wishes. Some don't want dirty crops, others want the best value for money. Some will push the boundaries a little further and hopefully accept the consequences if it was the wrong call.

Is your wheat riddled with mildew????

Capello is epoxi and 2 mildewicides I'd have thought that would have wiped out the mildew in which case you could just go with a litre of epoxi for about £13 ha.

Mantra is a good product and well priced(y) it will probably be my weapon of choice here at t1 because I've got a bit of mildew kicking about which I didn't bother with at T0.

T0 was 0.8 Amistar opti costing a tenner.

It had a bit of mildew which the Capalo has cleared up. May as well keep on top of it though?

There’s only £3.50/ha difference in cost between your programme and ours at the moment, so I haven’t been too wasteful!
