We are looking to replace 560/60r22.5 on our muck trailer. Doesn’t get a lot of use so not looking at Michelins, but have been quoted a good price on Ascenso brand. Are they any good or should i avoid them?

I don't think they have been imported (may be around at all - i don't know) for long enough to get much of an idea. Bush tyres I believe are the importers and have a good reputation as I understand it. I've seen some new ones fitted on a mates tractor and they look ok and we had a small one fitted on a trailer which again has been fine and looks good. I believe they offer a good warranty?

Running a set of Ascenso 650/55R26.5 on a tanker. Been on over a year and done a lot of miles without any issues. Will definitely buy more. Have another identical tanker with Alliance on, and at the same pressure the Alliance don’t spread the weight as good as the Ascenso. The Ascenso has a flatter profile where the Alliance outer edges are off the ground causing more compaction.

Looking at a set of tractor tyres. £400 cheaper than BKT which is usually my first choice for value for money.

It's not a huge saving over the life of the tyres but its a saving if they are good tyres

That's a good sign. A few years ago CEAT seemed like it was going to be the next big budget brand but reports iv heard are they are not a match for bkt

Just put these on about a fortnight ago. Haven’t really done any work with them yet tractor mainly doors roadwork and buck raking and a bit of ploughing maybe look 10 mm narrower than the Midlands we took off and they did 5000 hours but I was talking to the Asnenso guy at lamma show Bush tyres I believe he talks sense and not bulls**t so I thought I would give them a go through GT tyres
