Impressive. Didn’t cost much. 20ac a day? Or nearer 15? I hope he had a cap....
15 on the steep, 20 on the flat.

Great advantage of TVO power in the good old days of the open deck was all that heat coming back from the engine - just don't get that with a diesel.

Chap I mentioned did as much as two others working together locally, one with a D4 and 6f, the other with a D2 and 5f, who always both spent quite a lot of their day warming up in the shepherd's hut.

I did love my old 155/65 she pulled 5 mounted or 6 semi mounted and I will be the first one to admit that she had probably done 2 hard lifetimes of work before I got her but she certainly wasn't without her issues.

Mine would walk 6 furrows , only issue is the cab heat , ffs it's hot
