If i could change career ...... Then i would like to be the editor of the Farmers Weekly
Then i could take an axe to all the gobshites who have brought this once great publication to its knees . Tar and feather Blinky before running him out of the place
Get the " farmers " paper right behind the campaign to sort out RT ... Start taking pot shots at the NFU to try and drag them into the 21st century ..... Hire a couple of real farmers to write colums ... Get Jeremy Clarkson to double job as an agony aunt and a tractor critic .... Might even get @Clive to write a dd piece tucked away at the back you understand so as not to annoy the ploughmen !!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: The list goes on and on ...... Then i woke up !!!!

I think Gold Mining would be the job for me obviously Alaska or the like with all that big equipment i don't think a 50 foot hole in the Amazon with bamboo pit props would suit.
As an aside to the Somali Pirate job one of my children's teachers at prep school here was married to a pilot working for a private security firm. His job was to fly along the beaches of Somalia dropping the ransom money out of a small Cessna all was going well until they were arrested at Mogadishu airport with two million dollars in a suitcase apparently three months in a Somali jail gives you time to think about career changes.

I did a number of years driving a livestock truck across Europe which was a very interesting job as you got to see some very off the beaten track places as well meeting the real rural people.
Narrow roads in towns and low bridges was always a hazard as well as angry French farmers who wanted to burn your truck!!
Certainly saw many different types of farms and farming and some great countryside. I saw some magnificent livestock and fantastic Veal calves which had started as a rangy holstein bull calf!

I would have flown military helicopters if it hadn't been for the family farm. My dream job would then have been flying air ambulance or similar after retiring, if I'd survived. I'd have been in the thick of the gulf wars and other conflicts.

I did medical and exams for Royal artillery.
Wanted to be a meteorologist a long way behind our lines 🐔

Exellent living to be had funeral directing if you like it , I couldn’t even tho I defo have the face for it .
I came across quite a few country carpenters who were also funeral directors, I could think of half a dozen without even having to wrack my brain. I was told, it was because traditionally, the village carpenter used to make the coffins.
