Ended up ordering a 516 Fendt. With Fendt loader. PowerPlus spec. Autosteer included.

First Fendt here do it’ll be interesting to see how it goes.
Was it cheaper than the Deere equivalent?

You won,t be disappointed had a 5 furrow kv ploughing 16" furrows on ours, on heavy ground traveling around 7.5 to 8 k, fast enough to keep in front of the combi, fuel consumption around 18l/h. These tractors are powerful for there size.

Best of luck with your new purchase. Please review and update us on how your getting along it. I’m JD and passed on Fendt last year because of the Fendt terminal not been touch sensitive , no auto park brake, lousy location of key and pickup hitch that just seemed difficult to use. So I for one will be interested to see how u get along with it.

I do more or less the same duities as yourself with a lot of loader work 2k hours+ /year ,3ton fert,5f plough with 6155r ap 643r loader which is very tidy not sticking out to far in front, has 600 tires up front on wide track so excelent lock .Having come from a fendt previously (v good tractor) I felt the two main things I didn't like was loader controls felt like there was a time delay (very small) between controls and loader I couldn't even shake the bucket handy, ther other is the "brakes" not that responsive but maybe it's just me .
What ever u buy my advice is to get them both in your own surroundings if possible and don't make your decision on money alone especially if your driving it yourself hope this is of some good to you.
Good advice. After all you have to spend a lot of your life in the cab, so you want to be in one where you keep that feeling “right decision”!

The 7 inch and 10 inch terminals have always been touch screen types. Around 2015/16 they moved from the plastic film resistive types to more modern (and far more reliable) “all glass” capacitive type. But the functions, external buttons and thumb wheel etc all otherwise stayed as they were.

I believe there is a new generation of (multi) screens being announced with the new 700 series at Agritechnica next month.
