Anyone got a good long wall to line them up against?

you can make jokes but ,sadly, the time is coming....no more 'i know he's on the other side but he's terribly nice' you're one side or the other.....if nfu doesn't change sides then ANY nfu member will become an enemy

we're nfu at mo but my 'line in the sand' is if RT get a role in ELMS.....if they do,of course, we'll resign memberhip but also our decades old association with nfu mutual and the wonderful current agent:love: will end and ANY nfu member i come across will be called out publicly as a traitor

You may have a long line of traitors at the mart then to be shouting at

They are like any sort of bully. They will come back and take more and more and more until somebody tells them to stop. I think the NFU line is always “just one more appeasement and they’ll go away”. Well they won’t go away if you keep giving things away. They will keep coming back for more.
The problem we have is we have no independent representation as producers. RT is a disaster because our customers have too much leverage in it and are calling the shots unhindered.

As a valued client of SAI Global, we are writing to inform you that, on 13 May 2021 we entered into an agreement with Intertek to acquire 100% ownership of SAI Global Standards and Assurance Services.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approval which is expected to take 6-8 weeks, during which time we will be preparing for a smooth and seamless transition.

Headquartered in London, Intertek is a leading provider of Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification (ATIC) services. Through its global network of state-of-the-art facilities and expertise, Intertek delivers services in 80+ languages and conducts over 100,000 audits each year. With the addition of Intertek’s capabilities, along with your SAI Global Standards and Assurance Services, you will have access to a comprehensive suite of solutions across the full assurance lifecycle.

I am very excited about this next chapter of the SAI Global journey and look forward to working together with Intertek to better serve the ATIC industry. This transaction will bring meaningful benefits to our Standards and Assurance clients and partners as we combine the expertise, experience, products, and capabilities of our two companies.

André Lacroix, CEO of Intertek, shares this same enthusiasm for the future of our combined companies. Please see his statement below:

“I am so pleased to be welcoming you to our Intertek family very soon. The expertise of SAI Global Assurance combined with Intertek Business Assurance really is a winning combination. Together, we have an excellent technical and strategic fit with our services to position us for growth in the years ahead. This is an exciting business move for both companies, all the people involved, and of course our customers. I greatly look forward to working with you.”

Next Steps
Please be assured that it will be “business as usual” for SAI Global during this transition. Our Standards and Assurance division operates as a standalone business within the SAI Global group, so there will be minimal impact to you during this separation.

Throughout the transition, your account will continue to be led by the SAI Global regional management team, who will work closely with Intertek to ensure you experience the same quality and reliability that you have come to expect from SAI Global.

If you have any questions at all about this transaction, please contact [email protected]

Kind regards

Kim Jenkins
Group COO, SAI Global

The thing is I walk outside this evening and everything is growing nicely, the air is clean, the stream is running clear., birds are whistling, everything is content and as it should be apart from my tractor clutch.
So why oh why is there this constant need for those above to tinker and micromanage? There isn’t a problem here. We don’t need your input thanks. f**k off and bother somebody else with your schemes and your money.
