Definitely Kubota seems to be the most popular on any caravan sites and dealerships yards that I've been to.
What would it bring to the party that a little 200 series wouldn’t?
Almost everything the op wanted except flat floor. Does have shuttle though which Im sure would be handy when maneuverimg caravans into place.
Local dealer had a 2wd 6100 JD. Not sure if still availableNeed a tractor to tow caravans from storage to their pitch.
up half mile steep private drive. 50 hp minimum.
2wd or manoeuvrable 4wd
Needs good reliable handbrake,
Flat floor, easy to get in and out.
Any modern classic suggestions .
thanks
I would like to know which 200 series MF @Highland Mule can get with a flat floor as the 250 and 290 that we owned certainly didn't have a flat floor.
A 300 series would tick more of the OP's boxes, it would be expensive to buy but would last for years if looked after and appreciate in value!
Good examples are getting harder to find but parts easy to source for keeping them in tip-top condition.
I think time must be affecting your memory! The transmission tunnel "hump" in the Sankey cabbed 290 was at least 6 inches.
Our 390 with the hi-line cab did have an almost flat floor with a step of about an inch, but definitely not the 290.

I’ll try and get a chance to measure tomorrow.
Bad driving is the reason for poor handbrakePreviously used a IH hydro 85, for 20 years, till she died. Very good , poor handbrake. Cab access not great.
currently use Case farmall 55 2wd.
need second tractor .
quoted £26K for new farmall.
vans have to travel up 1/2 mile steep drive so handler not an option, parking tight so pick up not viable.
thanks for ideas so far.
