Loaders for tractors …

I bought a new quicke Q6s in John Deere green with soft ride third service and the quick coupler for the pipes with a cable joystick so quite basic while quicke had an offer on for £8500 + vat very pleased with it doesn’t get hard use as it’s mainly used for my fencing business but also shift straw in the summer.

Christ, somebody must've called the fun police. You lot need to lighten up a bit and stop being such risk averse wet blankets

Don't waste your time lecturing me on the dangers of hydraulics, I don't care that much.

Had a set up like that on our Ford 4000. Spool block fixed to the mudguard at thigh height. Worryingly close to the family jewels. Installed by a Ford dealer in about 1989-1990 ish. Must have still been legal then ? Still, anything's better than electrics.:poop:

1979 was the last time dad had tractor with oil pipes in cab. International 475 with mill loader. Sold 1983. Always had spools outside cab after. Wish we'd kept tractor though. Hell of a tractor.

i have quike brackets on 2 tractors with a q7 loader and a q6 loader
t7 new holland one auto gearbox one range command
i has the quike spool with electronic joystick on a non electronic spooled tractor
the other a newholland joystick on an electronic spooled tractor

the difference is marginal althoough the position of the quicke spool in the cup holder and smaller thumb joystick is good

each one is easy to operate once you get used to them
jumping from one to the other has to be done a bit carefully as the joysticks respond differently

if you do not have a joystick on the tractor then the quike electronic is the way to go worth the extra

taking the loader off is a 2 minuet job once you get used to it
the more you do it the quicker it gets

Is that a 6000 or 6010 series tractor? Was it easy enough to get the brackets for? Looking at getting a loader for an old JD, thought I might get laughed at!

It’s on my 6810, took a while to get the whole loader was told 6 weeks which turned out nearly 4 months but loader was made only a couple weeks before I took delivery
