Long distance slurry pumping

How difficult would it be to set a tractor up for remote control? Actuators for throttle/stop. Solenoid for pto, and solenoid for spool. Murphy gauges and a remote display of revs/temp. Surely could be done for less than 10k?
I’ve it done on my case cvx for less than £50,I send it a text it starts the pto and revs the engine to a preset, send it a text and it turns it off in sequence.

On a tractor with pre-set engine buttons like a Massey 7000 series it’s very simple.

Might be a daft idea but could you have a cctv type camera looking at the dash of the pump tractor for revs, temp, fuel etc & a remote screen in the cab of your spreading tractor?

How does that work? Sim card for the tractor?

I spoke to RAW equipment about fitting up a remote to tractor . He said he could do it .
I’ve also a remote off Richard,he’s replaced remotes on mainstream set-ups because they weren’t good enough.

Yea it’s not too difficult I did one with a electric ram pushing the foot throttle down when you sent it a text then later moved onto a tractor with electric throttle control that was even easier just wired into the B preset (Massey 7480) the pto is just switched from a momentary pulse so easy to tap into
My engine pump cost be about 5k to build v8 Perkins for £550 and a sh Doda pedestal pump for £1500 then a rubber coupling for £600 the rest went on building a frame fuel tank and the remote control

If only I had the time, I would seriously enjoy that sort of project
