Nonsense.I'm becoming an old fart
If you can't actually remember the day Mole Avon first started up it makes you yet another youngster.

Nonsense.I'm becoming an old fart

If you dont do credit they its payment on collection or before delivery. Offering someone a £1000 credit is an insult .Ok then , there is a need clearly, all you clever posters why don't you start up your own local buying/selling groups/co-ops ?not just to put money for a few shares but hard work and commitment ? like those 2 did in the early days with plenty of farmer commitment...
very easy to spout off on s\media these days but i think you had better go to a few meetings and show your expertise .....
Like i say there is clearly a need, Cooperation works well in other countries why cant it work here? or is that a subtly different subject......
It seems one thing that is clear to me is if you want credit then get it from a proper lender second thing is there is a need for younger farmers to join in buying and selling groups.
and not me because I'm becoming an old fart nowadays....
To be fair to Mole Avon, they seem to have been forced to go through everyone's account limits, comparing them all with their recent trading experience, in order to satisfy the dreaded banksters.Offering someone a £1000 credit is an insult .
Like saying bog off to your customers.
Only feel the need to post when I have something worthwhile to say .Old beetlejuice has popped up had a rant about having credit reduced, had a pop at me and disappeared again.
It's all a bit fishy if you ask me......
So what worthwhile reason did Mole Avon give for cutting your credit?Only feel the need to post when I have something worthwhile to say .
None, here.So what worthwhile reason did Mole Avon give for cutting your credit?
None, here.
They probably had to do this in order to sort the mismatch between credit facilities already agreed and normal trading requirements - in our case an anomaly of about 30:1.
However, they should have been far more upfront, instead of trying to hide behind the corona virus.
Letter arrived today informing me that the bank account for MVF Feed Solutions has changed ..... strange times
MVF have moved their borrowing facility. If you take a peek on companies house you will see. What? That is odd.

The limit on one of our accounts was reduced from £3000 to £250 which, after 47 years of prompt payment every fortnight (1200 or so successful encounters!) might well be seen as a gratuitous insult.
In retrospect, they should been far more upfront to everyone in explaining why this had to happened, and not tried to hide so feebly behind the coincidence of the corona virus.
The inevitable backlash serves them absolutely right.
You made the 1st accusation and like the forum busy body you are it had nothing to do with you then you get questioned and you go on the defensive maybe think before you start throwing stones as some people will throw rocks back.
Never have I owed mole Avon money past my due date but recently they have slashed the amount I can book to my account has this happened to others
Maybe your credit limit was cut because of credit history?
You could of answered yes or no to the 1st question [rest deleted by Moderator]Ok steady up there.
You asked a question seeking advice. I wasn't throwing rocks, perhaps i didn't make it clear.
What I should have said was
" maybe your credit amount has been cut because you haven't used the account for a while affecting your credit history."
I'll leave it there me think.
Oh I had just got the popcorn ready to settle down for this evenings entertainment.@Beetlejuice @Sid
