I don't think there is anyone on here that is telling any potential customer how to do the job. We are all just amateurs, sharing tips and experiences in the hope that we can all do it better, saving paying a 'professional'.

I said other so called Professionals on groups , forums, etc, .....shouting about , what they know ? (& partially educating potential customers, etc),.....& "doing it yourself " ? ,....maybe too much time on your hands, as a farmer then ? , .....Forgive me .....I'm just moaning, & grumpy, ...cause I still do this mostly full time,....on FOOT, in all weather's,....& kneeling on the ground, all day, etc, ...carrying the gear, rd , .....& I ain't getting any younger,....

I purchased the equipment and have been catching them myself - so I am no longer looking for a mole catcher now, but thank you anyway.

I doubt Mr expert catches moles in the area just behind the front legs all the time either to be honest - as the reach distance for different size moles will come to play imho.

Erm, you are allegedly with your claimed 30 years knowledge telling us how we are doing it wrong and poorly catching the moles.

You need to be aiming to catch the mole, from behind the front feet, roughly ,rib cage , chest cavity, area, your half barrel , or Duffus traps,...can be fettled with,.....to help achieve this,.....maybe pay a Pro,...,....cause I've NOT come across any SKINT farmers yet ! ,...in my 30 yrs moling lol

This is all common knowledge now, (unfortunately ), amongst full time mole men , etc ,.....about how to adjust traps, etc, it's not hard to find out , FFS ! ,....cause as i say , they all want to shout about " hey , look what I can do, these days ! " ,........& ive personally revealed FAR more than intended here,...,......its not hard to find the information,...not to mention they all get fast tracked , going on these day courses,.....& encouraging it by telling folk there's a lack of traditional mole catchers ,....absolute nonsense !,....reality is these so called trainers, want to make money running courses, rather than the hard work of doing it properly,

My names Kevin,...& I reside in Renfrewshire, Scotland , & I've been a mole catcher about 30 years, catching for farmers , golf courses, estates, private gardens, etc,...OK ? ,.......so I just think I will finish here, incase i decide to take offence myself,.....& it goes downhill !
