New Chinese loaders & telehandlers?

Hello TFF,

Some brand new Chinese telehandlers and wheel loaders floating about. But does anyone have one, and are they any good?

HZM, DGM, Herecles. North Norfolk Vehicle Solutions seem to be offering various models between 10 and 20 grand.

Need something small and nimble for daily yard work (scraping, putting in a bale of silage, etc.). Good small second hand machines seem few and far between!

Cheers,

CB

look on allibaba for the same models and you'll see the mark up they are making on them

Yes I find those prices hard to believe, no idea how it compares to dealer mark up on machines of established brands.

Would love to know of anyone has bought one direct from Shandong!

Just about every bit of Chinese plant and farm machinery I see are bad copies of European and American designs. They even make bad attempts at copying colours and graphics. Go to big machinery shows and you can see Chinese personnel openly taking pictures and measuring components on stands for copying later. They get away with this because copyright laws are simply not enforced within China. So they're cheap because they haven't had to research and design their product. Add to this the selection of dubious materials for manufacture and they're cheaper still. The big one for farmers though is that they're built in factories with far lower standards of quality control, health and safety and workers rights than our own. Competing on a "level playing field" is the issue of the day in agriculture right now isn't it?

If they're anything like the Chinese motorbikes I've seen, they'll last for a couple of years, at which point they're worthless. The cost of them probably exceeds the depreciation of a "regular" brand....

Reliability and ability to fix/parts would also be a concern

If these machines are direct copies then standard oem parts of the machine copied will fit, we have a Chinese Great Wall steed pick up and guess what parts are hard to find although Alibaba has almost everything for them but also Isuzu d max and Nissan navara parts fit also, I know cos I fitted the rear bushes and prop shaft bushes for oem Isuzu haha, and don't forget Chinese machinery is less complicated than leading brands

I was talking to a Chinese man couple of years ago about there high speed trains and the maglev train in Shanghai, he' said "we've taken bits from Siemens of Germany, we've taken bits from hitachi of Japan and we've taken bits from the TGV of France and now China has one of the fastest commercial train lines in the world spanning thousands of miles" ?
