No Deal Brexit

This has probably been discussed before. But I have just been reading a BBC article on the various points covered by the NI protocol. It is claimed that rights in the GFA are respected by allowing continued freedom of movement throughout the eu for people who live in Northern Ireland. And protects their identity as British or Irish, or both. Does that mean that a British passport from northern Ireland affords different travel rights to one from the rest of the UK?

Sounds like it

that is an assumption, we do not yet know, what life will be like after brexit, because it hasn't happened. That is not to say you are wrong, many people hold that view. It might be wonderful, and many people hold that view, the truth is, we are taking a massive step into the unknown, and it's scary. For 50 yrs we have had the EU sat, on our shoulders, guiding, protecting our interests, or interests they deem to be correct. It is going to happen, or not, and it is up to all of us, to make the most of it, after all, there is nothing we can do to alter it.

And 'all' of us to take care of each other and let none fall by the wayside. (y)

They've signed 58 , so there must be something to go at , which is more than can be said for Germany and France

I understand that almost all of them are an agreement to just roll over the EU trade deals those countries had, so if transition were to be extended, presumably the huge amount of trade we do to those countries would carry on under the original terms.

They would I suppose but Boris will be in a ditch if it were extended

The new fta's have no EU involvement
India also in the pipeline
