Red Tractor Grain Passport Stickers....

For anyone like me who did not read the details from red tractor and are waiting on new grain passport stickers... they aint coming anytime soon..

There is now a system to allow you to print validated grain passports from the red tractor portal... but you need to be registered on the portal, which appears it might take a few days to set up... so don't wait until the lorry arrives....

My new stickers didnt arrive in march so had to set up the new system, it works ok I found but dont print off too early as they have a shelf life.

The main thing which all this lockdown etc has shown is how lazy the majority of people and firms are. First they want to completley stop farm audits as they like virtual ones and now wont even send out stickers, I wonder if they wiill charge less as there costs will now be less?

Something else to forget to do at a busy time.
So now loss of internet connection or the printer running out of ink or breaking down could potentially stop a load leaving the yard.
They build more and more needless failure points into the process at every turn.

Mine is. Always stops when it need it most. Beast loaded up for market. Need to copy entry form. No ink. Or.... the computer is halfway through a windows update.

Nah, but I'll be growing such a low tonnage for sale that the discount for non assured won't cover the costs of the assurance.

Very pernickety of them. Did they go through every can in store or just unlucky they pulled that one out of a selection?

Approx 50% of them, pre inspection check by the agronomist as well, but missed it ?
£270 mistake ?
