As far as the Taarup 10x is concerned, download a parts diagram ,and check how much spares are available for it. That would be my first priority.

This is true.

On the right day setup well the Ten X could shift, good in bad rows of grass.

Mex 6 is good, parts easily got.

SH40 is strong and will take alot of grass and power.

No real benefit above 150 hp, it just cannot get the grass in quick enough, Storm 300 different story, just give it power.

Used to use a Mex 6 on ab 8280 Fastrac, was an animal. Easy cope with 20-30ft grass. Needs to have the big pulleys on it and the uprated PTO shaft though

You can , mate puts 250 into one ,but modified drive line , puts 4000 acre through a year

4000 acres through a trailed chopper? Really? Based on an average 80 acre day that’s 50 chopping days/ year on grass only. That’s going some.
