Rain this month: 15.4 mm

Consecutive days with no rain: 0


Not sure quite how much of the 15mm we actually kept hold off... the moisture was evaporating away immediately in the hot winds...

River Vyrnwy a couple of miles south of Llanymynech, 12 months ago yesterday and earlier on today. It’s about as low as it can go at the moment and has been like that for the last couple of months, what a difference a year makes.

Might be enought to save the spring barley a little bit. Grass will look better for a proper drink too.

No, quite literally a handful of spots although we have just had 5 minutes of light rain that’s just about damped the yard.

30! I got 13, still better than nowt 23mm for the month now! Ironbridge had flash flooding!

Yeah we had some near here too... The road past the old beet factory site which is now being developed, was under water from run-off!! Popped down about 8pm and there was still a hell of a lot of water there. Developers will have a mess to clear up in the morning!
