Evening,

Im looking for a tractor.
Preferably a massey, but would consider anything.
Ideally needs to be between 80 and 100hp
4wd , 40k , with a loader
A left hand shuttle preferred
Would prefere tidy with good history than low hours
Doesn't need to do much in the way of work, only have 50 acres of grass
Have a budget of 18000 plus vat
Been looking for a while now to no avail.
Anyone one got any hidden gems that they would consider parting with?

i've heard bad things about xtrashift and ford sle....but never really found out why they wern't liked :scratchhead:
I preferred the SLE, not sure about the xtrashift but that cx105 further up doesn’t have the electronic LHR but has the manual version. There was also the option of low cab (stock cab that looked gash and I still no people that smashed them up) or deluxe cab on those cx’s too.

Whatever it was, probably the landini influence the 3 speed splitter was not liked, there was a few round here 10 or so years back and the owners had traded in 895's and such against them and wanted them back.

Standard two gear splitter were ok I think.

Loader is 4K. Remove that you have 14k for a 4wd 40k 90ish hp tractor with left shuttle reverse which usually implies a power shuttle.

4345/55 or 6255/65 would come close but probably not, and they would be 18-20 years old.
Yeah, there was a 13600hrs 6265 with loader for 17500
Couple of high hours 5455 but battered
And a couple of 4355s both went before I got to them and a 6255 sold before photos.
I heard bad things about the xtrashift gear boxes being jumpy to the point of being dangerous so disregarded that one.
I was hoping that someone on here knew of one or knew of someone with one , rather than playing pick the scammer on ebay

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
