Once he sees how you can make AB lines by clicking on any two points on a field boundary...
The one thing I think he will like about v6 is that all the curve and straight paths can appear in one list. That list being on a sub menu from a different location probably won't be so appreciated.

He most uses aog on the sprayer, using established guidance paths. Some fields have straight tramlines and others curved and it does annoy him that the path labeled "Tramlines" is not always where he first looks for it.

any chance there is a vid on how to do all those AB lines and boundaries and so on that i haven't seen somewhere, was experimenting with all that last few evenings in simulator mode but not making much progress.

Im new to GPS and have Agopengps running, i will only be using it in its most basic form, just the F9p plugged into the Fz-G1, i dont need autosteer, i just need it for fert spreading. In light bar mode its cuts a track for me to follow nicely.

Come to that is this how you all set it for fertilizer spreading ?
Lets say for spreading at 12m tramlines, with a basic hydraulic shutoff disc spreader.

Set number of sections to 2 and section width to 6m ? we all know in reality that fert spreading is complete overlap so fert spreader is actually broadcasting fert to 12m each side

Video will do, still learning myself.

For fert yes set 2 6m sections, set the delays for turning on and off, this will change the colour of the section on the screen to give you warning as to when to manually operate the spreader.

I’ve got somewhere. Just waiting on the board to arrive now I think.

Is there anything I can do in readiness for the rest of the unit to arrive?
You will need to use the AgIO program that loads the same time as AgOpenGPS to connect the COM port that the F9P is plugged into (with a USB cable).
Have a look, you will have to set the baudrate to match the F9P, iirc they come with 38400 by default.

found that screen, but doesn't beep for me in simulator mode
You will need to turn Auto section control on, this will then change the colour of each section depending on wether it should be on, off or switching.
No idea if it audibly beeps though.
