It is actually one of, if not 'the' most successful and watched shows Amazon has ever produced.
When its free to watch i will get to see it the

This is done by all PR companies to ensure they are reaching the correct target audience.
Much easier these days than when you used to have a company that was paid to get all the press clippings from every publication.

Now there are ways of doing it on line by using key words and phrases as well of course as the NFU or National Farmers Union.
A mention in a national Daily even the Guardian scores high as does Radio 4. Then there are local Radio and local papers as well.
Thanks, i fully understand how they montior i was mire meaning how they know they are ''engaging'' correctly. Mentions and key words doesnt necessarilry mean they are engaging correctly. Look at Trump. His name was in the media millions of times a day, was he doing a good job though!

I look at the meetings when the details come up but its not really my thing plus its time away, much more convenient [for me] to have an online forum type conversation that you can pick up or add to anytime over days/weeks.

I have done a couple consultations and meetings with various groups also had some input with our little TFF group which seems to work in my preferred way [as above]

The trouble I find with meetings is I always think of what I should have said on the way home, with an on line forum type meeting/conversation you can add to it whenever just as we do every day on here.

As I said before but will say again there is no reason why the NFU couldn't set up and run some sort of forum of their own apart from the fact they don't want to [see my response above to @MrNoo ]
Pop it down in an email and send it to county advisor, board chairman,
it’s certainly getting a lot harder to get away with what has bern going on for decades in ag leadership

the directorship links and paid committee / board positions uncovered by various tff members questioning Red tractor /. AIC: NFU/ Vi / AHDB and various commercial companies with conflicting interests is a genuine scandal

free speech makes individuals accountable- that can only be a good thing
Is that similar to your link with the carbon credits firm your are pushing, that it took someone to dig out before you came clean 😉

You have Watson and Pratt shops in Aberaeron and Lampeter that have very high quality produce and food in general. At a price.
Tell you what though, if you shopped somewhere cheaper than Costcutter Felinfach and W&P you would save the price of Amazon Prime membership for a year in about three weeks, so it would effectively be free for you. That must surely appeal to the obvious Cardi in you.

was no digging required - i invested in a company and as a farmer ive used it add significant income selling a new product our farm produces. Im certainly not on the payroll of Gentle Farming and don’t represent it - just one of several investors / mentors and customers happy to share my experience with others

all companies i have interest or investment in are unashamedly commercial and don’t pretend to represent anyone other than their shareholders

BIG important difference to the gravy train that ag representation ag governance has become

You distinctly were not very clear about ownership , promotion and investment.
You part own the company, and promoted it without revealing your significant connection.
Exactly the same.

There has been a new member who has been chastised for promotion of a commercial company offering investment just this morning.

No such thing has happen on gentle farming.

sid - the spamner removed this morning was a scammer from china - we filter and remove literally thousands every day here

my ethic in agribusiness is to invest in, support and build businesses than have potential to genuinely BENEFIT farmers and take money off those that make a living from farmers - this is the opposite to what a lot do !

none of this has anything to do with this thread however or representation / governance of uk agriculture.. …….. something i have no paid interest or involvement with whatsoever

You started the discussion on conflicting interests I used your relationship with carbon company as another example.

I have no undeclared conflicts of interest (a legal obligation as a company director) and most certainly have no paid or commercial involvement involvement in ANY agricultural representation or governance bodies, boards or quangos

frankly Sid you are making sh!t up that doesn’t exist
