Used to be in College with a chap Chris, nickname Wilja, from Cornwall, maybe him?NFU1 is still with the NFU and on a pick up based at Stoneleigh that tows the promotional educational trailer around.
couple of good plates locally, Ecosyl rep has EC05SYL and local Landrover has W1LJA on it.
that’s obscene frankly ! i’m pretty sure that money could be spent far better members
that plate would be worth a lot of £
they clearly have way to much cash for their own good, remember this next time membership is due !
NFU 1 was owned by the NFU, NFU2 and 3 owned by an ex group secretary in the isle of Axholme. LFU 1 I have driven many years ago as a staff member of Lincolnshire NFU Branch (The Founder Branch of the NFU. Where it is now I have no idea. Maybe the Loynes family still have it!!

That ages me!! It was only a year or two after I Had left college. Come to think of it I thought I had seen it recently!
An investment needs to be sold for more than was paid for it, money will grow, albeit rather slowly at the moment sitting in the bank or in a longer term bond.only if they sell it when worth more than paid !
so it should have been sold, or should still be sold

When an investment should be sold is a difficult one and usually best judged with hindsight, maybe the best time to sell hasn’t come yet.
However I’d be very surprised if the NF U has bought a private plate as an investment.
looks like it’s serving a “essential” service to members on a Toyota pickup !
