They are ahead alright in every department including running cost which can be the highest on the market, a lot of fendt owners have switched away from them in the last 5 years that I know off , actually a lot more have switched away than have stayed with them.
It would be the polar opposite in this region (East Cork). I’ve no bias, I’m happy with which ever brand that does the best job all round (cost, comfort, reliability, ability).
A good number of new customers around here and many repeat customers.

I do use my Massey with DTM off but only really on big square Baler. I’m sure we’ll get used to it like I say it’s really only a back up machine which if you where being critical I don’t need! But having one tractor tied up till about now on row crops it is just handy! And I like a bit of dealing!!
In terms of Fendt as a brand if they had a local dealer I would run all Fendt. When ever I’ve costed them over the last few years they are the cheapest to run. But ultimately they all break down and a 3 hour drive to dealer just kills the job for me coupled with very very good back up from local MF dealer.

If dealer is three hours away what’s stopping the MF dealer selling them then?
