Combine for 50 - 70 acres of barley a year

I'm currently looking to upgrade my Bonhill E514. What is a good choice? I have owned her for seven years and it's now getting a little much for the old girl. She cuts around 50 - 70 acres or barley in August - September. I was thinking something along the lines of a Claas Dominator. Possibly a Dominator 76, 85 or 86. Any recommendations?

A nh combine like an 8070 or smaller models is a good machine
I'm also considering one of the makes like John Deere or New Holland. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Claas from the mid-late 90's to the early 2000's go through a bit of a bad spell at producing combines? I may however be wrong. That is why I'm looking at Claas' before this time.

What are your thoughts of the Dominator 76 and 86?

Have worked both and undoubtably they would manage that acreage easily and are relatively simple to work on I would however recommend you tried to find a 78/88/98 instead but only due to the age of the machine another 2-3k on the budget may provide another 3-5 years working life 🤞

Sorry missed your bit about late nineties......think the Dominators were ok at this time though, stand to be corrected but all the ones I know of were ok

50 to 70 acres. If you want cheapest cost option per acre do 15 acres a day with old 10ft senator or equivelant. That's only five days work max. No cab of course and no aircon to go wrong! Should find one for 1500 and 3k between now and harvest. Or go for something 25k and have an easy ride.

Put 80-100 acres, threw this old girl every year, plus a bit for the neighbour, 1055 from 1990. Can fair mouse on when the weather's with me, all parts are available from main dealer, next day if your desperate. A lot of wearing parts are cheap through kramp and the like.
