Part of the problem is disrupted supply chain logistics. Lorries don't always have back loads & processing capacity is limited in some firms where working from home just doesn't get the same output. Add in delays at ports, some blatant profiteering, shifting supply & demand and some sectors are short on capacity.

Despite this, economic activity is up & the FTSE 100 index is approaching pre Covid levels. There is work going on!

I find that to believe, or maybe not. We get big boxes with a small box inside packed round with either chopped cardboard or rolled up paper
heaps of waste

Replacement iPad just been delivered from Amazon Warehouse (£50 cheaper for damaged/marked box👍).

I need a small bit for a tooth grinding tool (for piglets) from Germany.

Couldn'y order it online for some reason UK wasn't in the list of countries you could put in the address section.

Emailed the company 'I am sorry but we cannot export anything to the UK at present'

NRM labs are out of soil sampling boxes and their fancy new cardboard cool boxes till the end of April apparently.

The other supplier that told me they are out of cardboard boxes is now couriering in small wooden crates, I cant complain about them though as they will come in useful/the wife has eyed them up for the garden.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
