Thanks for the support and good words.
We, too, are waiting for our victory and the end of the war.
As for the harvest, it has been raining for 2.5 weeks. It is not possible to go out into the field to sow winter wheat and thresh sunflowers. Although sunflower was treated with drones today (desiccant) - 175 hectares.
Respect and best wishes from me too , just remember all across the free world everyone is praying for the end of this brutal invasion. Long live Ukraine!

You use drones for chemical applications? Any details?

Claus , you really need to find a sunflower header or at least “boats” long fingers on the cutterbar to help with cutting, otherwise your losses will be very high.
It would be worth googling “sunflower harvesting boats” there are plenty for sale and lots of you tube videos of harvesting
The very best of luck!

We have a sunflower header Optisun 870, as shown in the attached photo.
Here the "boats" also vibrate.

Any walker machine will struggle to get very high outputs unless the crop is very fit and the straw very dry and preferably cut as high as possible.
When I ran an 865 we thought 15-16 TPH in Barley was fair going and 20 in Wheat. But we used to cut for one customer who had huge crops due to his soil and style of farming where I have seen us pushing up to 40TPH as he would never let us near the crop until it was absolutely 100% fit and dry. Used to work well for us as he had a couple of hundred acres and we always cut it 2 weeks after we had finished everything else.
The 865 had beaters up the elevator and most of the separation happened before the drum in a fit crop
That was very similar to my old boss's calculation. 2 MF 760s would average 30ton/hr in reasonable conditions. Seems staggering when you think the 760 was the largest combine available at the time. One large machine today will do considerably more.

we kept our 865 for near 20 years after we gave up the contracting and reduced our acreage . After selling up I drove a friends TF78 for a few years , that was a relevation!, but todays machines would dwarf that of course

Tell me, is it possible to make the concave gap more than 20mm (for sunflower threshing), because at the minimum drum speed (400rpm) and the concave fully lowered (position 20), there is a lot of shelled (without husk) seeds.
At the same time, it is difficult to adjust the purity of the grain in the bunker, because the sieves are overloaded.

Be very wary of opening the drum too wide, as you will have a devil of a job to clear a blockage if it occurs.
If the sieves are overloaded there may be too many seeds returning to the drum which is not helping the problem.
Try turning up the wind a bit, but beware you do not blow seed out the back

Ps , some of your lads did a good job yesterday!

Tell me, will my problem be solved by replacing a grain concave with a corn concave?
What are the gaps in mm when using a corn concave? Similar to grain (inlet/outlet max 24/23mm) or more?
In the manual for 7278 for corn, the concave clearance is recommended from 32/21 to 34/26mm. At the same time, concave clearances in normal mode end at 24/23mm readings... Combine MF7278
