Ah, but we do not know the contract price! Could easily find a very disgruntled French grower wishing he had never contracted with the current free buy price so high!! Who knows. But I do enjoy these ice to eskimo stories.

It would surprise you how much potatoes particularly from Belgium go around the world normally as chips etc.
I export seed to Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Israel every year, it all goes in containers now rather than a ships hold full of pots as it was a few years ago.
Had some a few years ago that went to Uzbekistan ( I think) trucked to Holland - boat to Latvia and about 10 days in a train through Russia.

Was wondering if it could be doing with new cup belts as cups seem a bit flexible. That’s what I liked about the standen the cups are more rigid

The newer style cups are better on the Grimme, mud doesn’t clog up on them as much... the have larger holes

I must admit we have done very well, still on £420 for Agria. But they’ll be finished in a couple of weeks. Got a shed full of Caberet to go, not such a nice sample though. Piper will finish next wk at £300 for non fryers.
Talk of £500+ last autumn, can’t see that happening can any of you?
