Out of curiosity of the ''17'' , how many are New Zealanders?By that definition I've personally met 17, excluding myself, so far (many at Groundswell).

Some international farmers, some allied trades, you never know who’s registered and lurking to keep an eye on what we do
Huge amounts of useful information on TFF that can help everyone. Google a farming question and TFF is often the top result
In our area? I dont know any at all. You are the only poster i know around us.Just from random comments I`ve received in the real world, it would seem there are a huge number of regular lurkers
Do you hope they do or be relieved to find out that they don’t?

Don't ever look at the British Farming Forum FB pages then. I'm regularly ashamed of what my fellow farmers post on there for the public to read!I don't know really, there's a lot of negativity, how much is real and how much is people liking a moan, I don't know.
I think if you read a variety of posts it shows that many aren't doing that badly.
Get past the, I hate the NFU, RT and Supermarkets, and there's a lot of, how do I reduce tax, what to invest in, rental house and other business topics that show many aren't just farmers.
There's a lot of threads started by lifestyle farmers, too, they want to start farming because they love it but it's not how they made money. TFF can help them which is good.
I wonder how many with no knowledge of farming read the forum and what their view of British ag is after reading it?
Agreed , sadly most of those posters are often very young and impressionable.Don't ever look at the British Farming Forum FB pages then. I'm regularly ashamed of what my fellow farmers post on there for the public to read!

Police did well to join BFF! Was a bit of a closed shop. You might laugh chae1. As I recall there was quite a set too.
This is typical. Depressingly typical.No. Don't do Facebook.
I do watch way too much YouTube (I know, I lead a sad life) there's loads of UK farming channels on there now with hundreds of thousands of subscribers and millions of views. I don't think any stick their head up and post on TFF though?
I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Could you be a bit more precise? The only police I recall on this or the other forum were commenting on towing regulations I think. That was a long time ago. I only read a fraction of topics so may have missed some 'action'.I remember some posts from somebody who said they were a serving police officer on the BFF and were watching what was said @Cowabunga

Lots in the NE but you like others need to change to show where you are fromIn our area? I dont know any at all. You are the only poster i know around us.
Would people that look but don't post be classed as members ?
Would folks that post once a month be classed as members ?
Genuine question.
It amazes me, BFF were quite rigorous with their moderation back in the day yet BFF on Facebook seems like a free for all.Don't ever look at the British Farming Forum FB pages then. I'm regularly ashamed of what my fellow farmers post on there for the public to read!
