Hello. I am looking to replace my 2013 Forterra CL (with mechanical reverser near gear lever) for similar sized tractor. I had it since new and it was really reliable and does not use much fuel, but as I am getting older I want something less bumpy and quieter. What Forterra is doing and what replacement should be able to do:
1. Handle front loader capable lifting 2 tons
2. Spraying with 3000 liter trailed sprayer
3. Handling 15 ton grain trailer
What I don't like about Forterra and what replacement should have:
1. That frickin sound. I want to be able to speak on the phone while driving.
2. I don't go much over 30kph with Zetor, mostly because of sound, but I want 40k ECO or 50k gearbox in new tractor.
3.Trailer hitch and loader subframe is 20cm below all other tractor parts, so it makes a lot of damage when spraying OSR on later growing stages.
4. Zetor is really bumpy, so I want at least cab suspension or even front axle suspension.
What sized tractor do I need for these jobs? Currently Forterra does everything really easy, so maybe smaller tractor would be enough? I think the main question is if NH T5/Farmall would be enough or go for T6/Maxxum or equivalent of other manufacturers? I think T5 would be more simple and cheaper to run, just like Zetor, and maybe I could even afford it new, but does T5 have 40k ECO and suspension options? And if in future I would upgrade sprayer to 4k or even 5k liters would it cope(fields are flat and mostly dry)?
I'm currently looking at CNH, MF, JD and Claas options, but what about newer HSX and HD Forterras with 40kECO gearboxes? Are those any more comfortable and less noisy?
