Feeding out grass silage

I thats it

It’s put into long troughs, not a barrier, and lots of different fields of grass and cuts of grass in the pit, some of which the cows prefer over others, do mixing is necessary
we feed just with shear grab straight from pit so no mixing. Last years cuts were quite variable. Didn't realise what a difference it was making not mixing till we turned out in spring and the timid quieter heifers and cows increased production some by huge amounts. They must have been left with the worse silage all winter

Guessing you’r B doesn't work 😉😂, Not sure what you mean by adjustable, But in the girder lip you can see a little latch that holds them in place. Once the cows have eaten what they can reach (usually 24hrs time) we lift the latches and the cows push the barriers in closer. Then another 48hrs goes by and the passage is empty, we push them all back, put the latches back down and feed again. Hopefully that answers you’r question.
yes my is olloxed

What has actually prompted you to look at alternatives? From what you’ve said your current system is simple and only needs one tractor so why change?

is it time efficiencies you are looking to gain or improved performance?
Possibly might save time, maybe not drop so much on the floor. Just thinking aloud, might not change anything

Currently dig out grass silage into a pile with a grab, then use a large Emily bucket to pick it up and feed it along troughs. Simple and little to go wrong. Only needs one tractor.
Stupidly thinking out loud now, can I fill a mixer wagon with loader tractor and then hitch loader tractor up to it and stir silage and feed it out, or does the wagon need to be stirring all the time and have another tractor attached?
Are forage boxes still a thing? Do the need another tractor too?
Should I just stick with my simple current system?
Your system is perfect
Forage boxes break down , almost certainly on Christmas Morning ,
And why do you want to stir air into it , unless your mixing something
