Wouldn't have the stuff if they paid us too regardless.
Why????

Wouldn't trust that the water comp has done the full treatment to spec in the first instance given their track record on dumping crap down the ditch ect , who knows what is down the track with such things , there is always 'findings ' coming out later on with these sort of things,Why????
Is it too late for an insecticide? Is it being shredded or just gone? Apologies if stupid question..Drilled Three weeks ago. came up in fantastic rows. 100% disappeared in two days. #FleaBeetle
off to walk it againIs it too late for an insecticide? Is it being shredded or just gone? Apologies if stupid question..

and with all the contaminats that may be slipping through the net , why take the risk of contaminating your best asset with this waste .
The trouble is if there is some related risk found down the road everyone will be thrown under the bus with it because there won't be any any differentiation between those that use this stuff and those that that don't in eyes of the public and Co.......
Well my experience has been different, had to wait because a batch had been rejected due to a excessive contaminant, that batch had to be disposed of . It has also been the only way I have found of increasing my phosphate index after many years of spreading compound fert and plenty of FYM
Mine was up Sunday. Combied into min till-small area after plough better. (Well 90% that has germinated in the dry) I had to spray it weds morning as soon as it warmed up as it was absolutely alive with flax flea beetle and they were winning. Bit of a mystery to me where they come from as I don’t know of any linseed that’s been drilled anywhere near here for years. Anyway first insecticide used on farm for 4 years (edit forgot about teppeki on beet 2 years ago) to have had a serious impact on numbers. Applied with a wetter and Mn. Gave it 50kgs N yesterday, wants a rain desperately. Really don’t want to lose it. Already have some fallow after failed osr.Drilled Three weeks ago. came up in fantastic rows. 100% disappeared in two days. #FleaBeetle

The FYM or bulls**tIf only you would ask I could help you with that last point…….
With more linseed into a population of hungry beetle? Or with barley off the heap?Ours was drilled three weeks ago, came up ok and has been eaten away to nothing. Too late to redrill?
In 2013, my best Spring barley was drilled 4th May.Was thinking linseed, way too late for barley here. Or other break crops considered?
I think mine might need a second insecticide....Ours was drilled three weeks ago, came up ok and has been eaten away to nothing. Too late to redrill?
My flea beetles need a drink of water as much as the linseedI think mine might need a second insecticide....
