Buckraking charges

Hi. I have a JCB 414 and am wondering what way people charge for buckraking. Per hour or per acer? What is the going rate for man and machine? Thanks

£60 / hour for a 419 which would be similar

No idea but charge by the hour. When the chopper breaks down you are not earning.

Farm supplies the diesel is the norm in this part of the world. £65 would be right for a 435.

You should know how much it costs you to buy,maintain and run it, so add 15% to that.

If you don't know what it costs you, it's about time you found out.

I’ll have a 12ft fold out buckrake on the front. I was thinking £40/£50 an hour on the farmers diesel

It will also be mostly wagon grass being buckraked so I think that per hour is the only way to go as it’ll be slower than a self propelled
