Unrelated but do UA not put up catalogues online or am I lookin in the wrong places @shearerlad have never been able to find anything in the past unlike Dingwall, Thainstone etc

They only put the catalogues up for the "important" sales. IMO it's pretty poor.

£1100. Cattle are a good trade but grass isn't getting any greener with lack of rain! Though anything over 450 might not go to grass.

Sold my best last Friday at 1175, 14 months, about 470 kilo, not big but would kill out hellish well, normally your trade way above ours so would guess 1220? Good luck

Heifers on Monday were a strong trade driven by store cattle money , so with any luck you'll be pretty pleased @shearerlad. If that bullock in the pic can't sell well nothing will.

Think that will be around the mark.
Sold the last of our 11/12 month old Sim stots at Stirling a couple of weeks back averaging 470kg & £1150 for the 12 sold.

Don't think trade will have come back any so would expect fancier Lims like @shearerlad's of the same weight to be £70-£80 more at least.

It is a bit of a poor show.. My understanding is that may change under the new regime.

Is that not more work for them rather than just posting it on there website? Never been to Stirling before, what sort of numbers do they get for an average sale

Think there is 2200 cattle entered for today's sale.
We used to get catalogues emailed but they stopped due to lack of interest!?!?

It does surprise me for a company so professional in other ways how poor their web site is.

I was just replying to the mans point.
And for the avoidance of doubt ua's inability or reluctance to put catalogues online is a poor show.
I will mention it again to the management tomorrow.
