There is a saving to be had for them. Less haulage. Less labour.I explain they are getting far more hay for the money , simps really
But at the end if the customer wants small bales and you can't supply they shop elsewhere.

That's a big ask round here , small bales and delivered , .....There is a saving to be had for them. Less haulage. Less labour.
But at the end if the customer wants small bales and you can't supply they shop elsewhere.
But you didn't tell the customer they had to have 6 litre bottles instead of 500ml ones.
You change the delivery time not the product.
You really couldn't make up how far off the mark you are.
That’s kind of the point of doing them, £50 for 10 small bales or £30 for one big one, same amount. Of course the extra £20 has to be worth it. If you are doing 10000 small bales that’s £20kI explain they are getting far more hay for the money , simps really
Depends on how big the big one is .... 80 x 50 are quite bigThat’s kind of the point of doing them, £50 for 10 small bales or £30 for one big one, same amount. Of course the extra £20 has to be worth it. If you are doing 10000 small bales that’s £20k
OP is trying to work with an out dated system just to keep a few customers happy, if he approaches them in the right way 95% (as another poster reported) would change to a system that is better.
I just quoted an example of managing customers from an industry which I am familiar with.
