Well my grandfather's first combine was a MF 21, got it in 1943/44, and stuck with MF until we saw the light in the mid 90s when we jumped ship and changed brands.
What a change, we went from an almost constant fear of break down, to being surprised when the machine did break.

4 combines later we still run red, case.

I went from an MF750 and an MF30 ( this was a bad combine) to Dom 108 Classic big change I could go to a field and finish without a stop to repair.

Tom
Had a 750 30 years ago didn’t think it was a bad combine
I do remember odd number mfs at the time weren’t very good hence the reason of going yellow and sticking with it since

Wont scrap it will they ? Shame you donrlt get the pleasure of burning it.

If its scrapped you going halves again ?
Tried to by it back, but apparently they have to go to a breaker now  Spent so much £ on it the last 2 years I was hoping for at least 1 good season out of it, repair with second hand parts and then move it on.
New thread for advice about to start 😂

Yes, breakers yard next destination if it is written off, which is a shame, would do a 400 acre harvest for someone, just not double that we're trying to get it to do. I cant answer the last question at the mo ;)

Is it NFU? I bought my hedge cutter back after it was written off just 12months ago.

Year to soon to change as 1st year of full DD hence the temptation to buy it back.
