Typical! I had a choice of this Friday gone or this Friday coming as a guest on a shoot, I picked this Friday coming due to work commitments :confused: Sod’s law!

Our first day is on Tuesday , so technically can still go ahead. Risk assessment had been done and meeting in the field rather than inside, and no pub afterwards . All walking, so no sharing vehicles between drives. Can’t get much safer than that, but guess the rest will be postponed until December .

Expect the trade in cattle stores to rocket now all these arable farmers have no coffee machines to attend to, no shooting and even skiing is out, probably for the whole winter. That leaves buying and fattening store cattle and dogging as their only remaining options to pass their time.
I was thinking of buying a few cattle to keep me from total boredom this winter, but I think selling the straw would be more profitable

Here’s a thought, if you lot want to carry on shooting something then why not go and give our boys in the army a well earned break, may not be the same level of fun when what you’re shooting at can shoot back tho.
