short while wont hurt ,too long and it will drown .,far too random mixing with that slurry and field spreading tho.
But germination when spread with slurry may be better, our slurry pit is only relatively small, concrete bottom block wall sides & mixed well with hydraulic agitator on back of tractor, still sounds like a little late even for Devon

just been grassing a couple of fields in the last day or 2 and the only reason weve kept clover out is to possibly be able to spray blw s if needed later .
Rain is coming and ground wont dry out till next year now so moisture wont be an issue, pity you hadnt done it a week or 2 ago tho.

Busy tilling corn & too much grass cover.

Can remember years ago an old dairy farmer used to feed clover seed to his cows. Added it to the in parlour feed. Idea was cows out grazing would pass the seed thru and the sh1t would creat a good moist environment for the seed to germinate while the grass was surpressed letting it get established. Mixing into the slurry would work too I’d think. Every other weed gets spread and grows.

You could halve the shuter opening and drive at 12m spacings

I might of, if I’d been bothered enough. I just chucked a bit in to see if it would work or not, which the banding told me it clearly did.👍

I might get round to filling in the gaps, but it’ll likely see a full reseed before then.

I used to keep it out, but now I just include it anyway and spray if needed.
Most autumn reseeds don't need sprayed here so I was just giving myself another job to do for no gain.

If sowing in the spring where a weed spray is more likely, it may be better to sow without clover and add it in later, provided the seed cost makes sense.
Some suppliers aren't really any cheaper for mixtures without clover, in which case you may as well just leave it in, just in case you don't need to spray.
