Custom 60cube Strautmann on triple axles pulled by a 7310R last time I went by. Mixer is 15t empty.

They would do 5 or 6 mixes a day between all the farms...
The mixer cannot have much metal in it if it’s 60cube and only weighs 15t. My Keenan weighs over 8t, it’s 16 cube.

About the most I could get in my 22m3 JF Stoll was about 9 tonnes before it would start to come over the edge or not mix properly. The mixer was about 8 tonnes empty. When doing a concentrate premix I would do up to 12 tonnes. It would hold more but started snapping shear bolts.
I visited a large dairy near Cardif who had just bough the a 45m3 tri axle feeder pulled by a 200 and something HP John Deere that had started cracking a lot of the yard concrete due to its weight.
Must take time on these big dairy units to fill the mixer wagon in the morning as some use up to 20 different ingredients in the ration.

According to the web he has approaching 2000 head.
If you say 18kg each thats 36,000kg.
I can't see the mixer and tractor weighing 44t empty?

However
36,000kg is as near as anything to 80,000 lbs.
Possible the rep is getting his units mixed?

I Can get 7.5t in a 14m3 single tub of grass silage beet and 250kg of blend, mixer weighing 5t? so 60m3 could be 20t empty, 30t of silage, 15t of tractor=65t + 20% statutory Chinese whisper exaggeration and your nearly there, 80t!
