That landscape is certainly what might be called "rolling", or are some of those stone pits?
Is that pond always a wet hole, looks like rushes poking out the water.

It’s pretty rolling around here. All glacial deposits , so every soil type you can think of. That field is called the gravel hole field and is as it’s name suggests. There’s always two ponds in that field, but the one has expanded more than I’ve ever seen in my 58 yrs. Water has been running off other land into it.
Locally we have 7 lakes or Meres , a bit of a mini Lake District

Basically, if you’re in Norfolk, Aberdeenshire, or coastal North East, you’re all pussies and should be drilled up!

The rest of us eat raw pork and have sex with tigers. That’s how tough we are.

Looks brilliant, without wanting to get into a whos had more rain discussion any idea how much its had on it since drilling?
336mm, no way near as much as some but it has been very frustrating of constant topping up on clay! I am pleased how it looks though considering.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
