Malone are way ahead in build quality to lely/ mf. Proven in heavy Irish grass where lely have failed.

To dry it , if mowed with a wet butt. Makes far better silage.

Lely are giving a lot of trouble around here , while working side by side with Malone and pottinger.

I have a SIP 815 (think that’s the model?) mounted Tedder On ‘demo’ after having a lely lotus for years, put it this way, it’s not leaving my yard! Absolutely phenomenal bit of kit, not a blade of grass left unmoved when set correctly.
I'd go with Malone, seen a few working round here and they do a cracking job! Hoping to upgrade to one this year too.
On another note, I'd stay away from Vicon/KV, they're priced cheaper for a reason, tend to bunch up grass in heavier crops of hay/haylage which is far from ideal. Can get away with making a decent enough job in silage with it. Vicon look light and the headland function is awful!
