Was that the Percy?
.???? For real??
Don't think any land in these parts will see aplough much before April unless we have an extraordinary change very soon. Between rain and snow melt we haven't been this wet in the Borders for a long time
Close. Another 5 miles and you’d be there.

Mamhead direction, judging by the deep banks terrain
We have had it better than most but it is dtill to feckin wet to plough. Managed 10 ac on Thursday with a wee touch of frost but bottom of field too slippy Friday morn then rain came on.Yes, been ploughing all week. We've been very lucky being on east coast. Most weather systems coming out of west fizzled out before they've reached us.
Dennis hasn't really came to much so far either.
The dogs expression is brilliant.
Went out for a romantic meal with the mrs last night, got back and went to check lambing shed, one ewe heaving in corner, so had a look, rotten lamb coming backwards, took nearly an hour to get it out.The village pond came up 6 inches last night ........wish I could do that in a night the misses would be so pleased !!!
Gotta love the Cairngorms!Yes, been ploughing all week. We've been very lucky being on east coast. Most weather systems coming out of west fizzled out before they've reached us.

Same here in the Severn Vale. Never seen ground wet so continuously for many years. Need some sun on our backs nowWent out for a romantic meal with the mrs last night, got back and went to check lambing shed, one ewe heaving in corner, so had a look, rotten lamb coming backwards, took nearly an hour to get it out.
The romance fizzled out after that.?.
Going back to the weather, bloody horrendous last night, not seen rain like it ever. This wet weather has been going on now for nearly half a year now and i,m bloody sick of it. You really do need a sound mind to put up with it at the moment, not sure how young lambs would cope outside in that last night.
I think it was going to be a long term job, several years fixing that. Presumably the water or at least as much as possible is passing straight through. There’ll be a hosepipe ban in the Summer almost guaranteed! The Welsh Reservoirs must be brim full now as all the others. Wonder what they did with the one in Derbyshire which failed last summer?
