Replacing 7.5 meter rake which make

762c 👌🏻 Hope it’s as good as they are built up to be on here!
You have bought plenty of machines in your career as I have also, when you buy a new machine you are sometimes disappointed with it, some times you get what your were expecting and then the odd machine performs far better than what you expected it to be , the pottinger rake falls into the third category . I can’t believe how it can be so much better than the Kuhn it replaced. Best of luck with it.

We did go and look at a kuhn in the flesh before we bought the Pottinger, but we weren’t overly impressed. It was a plus model so supposedly had upgraded gearboxes and camtracks, which we were prepared to accept they had sorted the problem mentioned on here. Our main gripes was with the main chassis, it just didn’t look strong enough. So after seeing the pottinger and the quality of paint finish it was a done deal!
