MF 200hp + what to look for?

I know that there are pages and pages of MF threads but here goes...
I am looking for a c. 2000 hour tractor, and am considering a Massey, something like a 7720 or above. What are the strong points, weak points? Any particular spec to look out for? Never had a Massey but there is a good choice of machines available that fit what I’m looking for.
TIA

You will not go far wrong with a 7720 dyna vt, lots of cheap ones about at the moment

Is the 7720 a sweet spot in the range? Looking at 200 hp minimum but might go higher if the right machine was the right
money.
Also you suggest a vt. Are there any issues with a dyna 6 or is it just a case of the added convenience?

Thanks for the advice.
I’m not saying he’s wrong because there is a bit of trouble with the bigger frame dyna 6 but our local mf mechanic thinks they don’t do many more than the fendt vario. Some people seem to have trouble others don’t. I wouldn’t have any issues buying a dyna 6 and do have them there’s plenty of dyna 6 out there that haven’t had trouble and buying new there’s a £10k saving but as you are buying second hand vt would probably be a better bet as they don’t tend to be much dearer

Another question. What would a ballpark figure be on a new 7722 VT Exclusive? I am just trying to work out the value in some used ones that I am looking at.

They don’t make new ones any more it’s the 8s now, for what it’s worth all our tractors are dyna 6 and have had no issues with the gear box as old speedy likes to shout about

Don’t talk absolute rubbish you can’t write off a whole range based on a few horror stories if you did that you’d of never bought your fendt
We had 2 a 7618 and 7620 both were a lot trouble and cost a lot of money .I can you tell you of our problems by looking at the forum we are not the only people to have these problems with this range of tractors

The trade have no interest in these tractors , lots of 17 plate 7720 dyna vt tractors about for 60 to 70k with low hours on them , 2 in a online sale at the moment only bid to 20 odd k. Cheap hp if you get a dyna vt
