I still dont buy into this Fendt thing coz if your like me & dont do that many hours per year & then keep tractors 15-20years it makes the fendt a really dear tractor.
£160k for a 240hp tractor is just way off the radar.
lets see how many is sold in 3 years time.
Well i literally cant afford a fendt. We do run our tractors til the death so resale value isnt really an issue. But havin said that id love a fendt. The driving experience is the best of all brands imho. Also like fendts vario above the likes of cnh or a zf unit

Differant specs give a differance of about €20 k from top to bottom. A new dealer might also get extra discount to get them going , so you have that in your favour. I’d say from about €110 k up depending on spec .
It's about time we had a valtra dealer in the area ,should have been here ten years ago ,new Holland are gone downhill since 2010 , class are cheaper as well ,I think if I was buying new it would be valtra or class

Class are not cheap anymore , I’ve heard from men with class that they are shocked by the increase in price in the last couple of years.

I heard recently a new style 724 is around 160k but thats probably before a bit of hagglin. But the fendt will be worth a pile more second hand
I bought my 254 versu with the touch screen controls on 710 tyres , front pto for €135 k , I was buying a machine from the fendt dealer at the same time and he knew he wasn’t going to sell me a tractor but I asked him what would a 724 sell for straight and he said not less than €180 k , so €45 k differance . So you think the fendt will be worth more than €45 k more than the valtra with 5000 hrs on them , I think not.

Getting the dealer to give it all a snitch of a twist from new is one thing but laptop-ing 300hp out of a tractor originally designed to give about 200 is quite another. Ad blue seems to be a monumental pain in the chuff and best done away with, it's not like it affects the operation of the engine a jot.
Have been told that someone had a machine engine doctored to get extra power, then it went pop.
Dealer took it back and stripped it down, saw it on the " remappers" FB page how owner was so happy with it.
Machine and engine were delivered back to owner in bits with word to the effect warranty voided.

off my head i bet £15/20k easily
we all know a fully loaded 724 is wat north of £140k now & id bet nearer £150k in these new models with all 3 screens in.
Your ni on into S series Valtra at that money surely? 8.4lt grunt with fendt gbox at that.
To give you a rough idea a 724 profi plus Is more now than a 930 profi plus was 7 years ago. Absolute madness IMO

i hate too admit it but look at the used tractors similar to what you on about and the Fendt is at quite a premium to anything else out there
will it be €45k euro i dunno but there not quite the same tractor neither
take sum beating that 7.4lt Sisu mind ive got one in the 7499
Valtra are much the same as Massey used, basically unwanted at the prices they should be
